How to Become a Christian
1. Accept God's love for you. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life." (John 3:16)
2. Admit your need for God's forgiveness. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
3. Repent of your sins. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
4. Confess your faith in Christ Jesus. "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
5. Make a public profession of faith. "Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)
